Vortex
A short film trailer produced as part of a group project, during my second year of university.
The brief of this project was to create an animated feature film trailer under the theme of "Strange Encounters".
This film follows the story of a young girl, who after a devastating loss finds hope in an old book, unaware of the possible consequences.
Pre-Production
Here are a selection of my contributions during the pre-production of the project.
My responsibilities included:
- Storyboard thumbnailing
- Environment design
- Prop design
- Logo and title card design
3D Asset Creation

Above are stills of the scenes I created using Autodesk Maya. In these scenes I was responsible for all animated elements including character movement, effects and lighting.
